TECHNICAL INFRASTRUCTURE FOR AMBERSPHERE AT PLASA 2026

Our client Ambersphere Solutions, a specialist distributor for the entertainment technology industry, returned to PLASA Show at Olympia London for their fourth consecutive year. We delivered the centrepiece exhibition stand, resulting in a high-impact technical showcase that presented their industry-leading technologies to thousands of trade visitors.

THE CHALLENGE

As the UK's flagship trade event for entertainment technology, PLASA demands absolute precision execution. The brief called for a striking exhibition stand featuring a multi-tiered circular truss network flown directly above the stand to house Ambersphere's extensive range of lighting fixtures, hazers, and display units. Central to the concept was an ultra-wide, high-resolution circular LED screen suspended within the primary truss ring to display dynamic video content across 360°.

The venue's structural overheads required detailed pre-production engineering to ensure complete safety, seamless network control routing for live fixture demos, and safe, staged load-in schedules within a tight venue window.

WHAT WE DELIVERED

We designed the stand's infrastructure with one goal in mind: make the complex technical setup feel effortless for the client.

Flown Rigging: We built and suspended a multi-ring truss structure above the stand, creating a striking architectural centrepiece strong enough to safely carry the full lighting and display rig, all coordinated closely with the venue's own rigging team.

Circular LED Screen: At the heart of the stand, we installed a giant circular video wall, 10-metre across, wrapping the space in dynamic, high-resolution content from every angle, finished with custom black draping.

Wall-Mounted Displays: We added five large 4K screens across the set walls, all perfectly synced and fed with crisp, high-quality visuals throughout the show.

Network & Infrastructure: Behind the scenes, we managed all the power and networking needed to keep every screen, light, and fixture running in perfect sync.

THE RESULT

Visitors experienced a visually striking, polished stand from every angle—a high-impact platform that reflected Ambersphere's position at the top of the industry. The stand generated significant traffic throughout the show, helping Ambersphere secure the leads and meetings they needed. Our technical infrastructure delivered flawlessly throughout the three-day show. The circular LED screen maintained perfect synchronisation across all 360° content, supported by redundant network infrastructure that prevented any signal loss. The suspended truss structure performed with absolute stability, engineered precisely to the venue's load-bearing specifications. Power distribution and network routing managed the complexity of live fixture demonstrations seamlessly, with every screen, light, and fixture running in perfect sync.

Most importantly, Ambersphere's team wasn't stressed about the underlying infrastructure. They were free to focus entirely on engaging with their clients and conducting product demonstrations, marking four years of trusted collaboration on this project. The result was a very happy client, and the foundation for continued partnership.
